A cap model is when you only pay a certain dollar amount to your brokerage each year. After you "cap" you keep 100% commission for the rest of the year. Unlike a traditional brokerage where you might pay 20% to your brokerage forever (no matter how many homes you sell or how much commission you generate) a cap model allows you to keep 100% of your commission after capping.
Crown Homes has an $18,000 cap. You keep 80% of your commission and only pay Crown Homes 20% on each transaction. After you reach your cap($18k) then you keep 100% of your commission for the rest of the year!
We are not a franchise, so we have no additional franchise, resource or junk fees on top of your cap. We have no monthly fees at all and we also cover your E&O insurance every year for you, making Crown Homes one of the most affordable luxury brokerages to work at in the United States.
